I visited the Oasis yesterday. It is a crystal clear pool of water that Abraham stopped at and camped at while on his journeys throughout the holy land. I washed my hands in it because local legend says that if you wash in it it will heal you and if you drink it miracles will happen. Doc told us to forget the miracle part and not drink the water. I agree. It is filthy around it. There are mud houses from the 1900's settlers that lived there and there is a cemetery from the Iran-Iraq war. I took lots of pictures. I was going to get a vile of the water but the MPs kicked us out of there before I could.
