you everyone who came out to celebrate with us, it was a great time of
fellowship, and the food was absolutely delicious! Who's house next
month???
Ashley Cowell made special star-shaped cupcakes
and gave Pastor Rick a special one with a "1" candle. We
all sang "Happy Anniversary to Us". (ok, the girls sang, the
guys pretended like they didn't know the words)

Pastor Rick, in his attempt to justify purchasing a REALLY NEAT Coca
Cola cooler (with Bottle Top Remover included) charged $1 per
bottle of Coke to be put towards the Building Fund. Ok Pastor, we'll let you slide! |

we can beat that record and make some money for our church! |
Cheryl & Brad had some "Daytona Beach" water bottles made with our
church name,
logo & "1st Anniversary" printed on them. We passed
them out with special pens we had made up. (see below) If anyone didn't get a
bottle & pen,

We had a nice crowd attend, and the
weather cooperated. |
Audrey Johnson was able to attend, but
had to leave John behind. What a pleasure to have her join
us! They are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary this
Saturday, and will be renewing their vows. |
Mike and Anita, where are your children?!? There
are no photos of Emily or Caleb (or Ashley)... a little birdie told me they
were playing up in the loft...shhhhhh.... |
What a pleasure to have friends come to
support us even though they aren't members! Thanks Hal & Ginger for
your thoughtful gifts...

Rick is in heaven ~ surrounded by his mother AND mother-in-law! It
just doesn't get any better than that... |
Thanks to Connie (below left) for being our
attendant to assist guests from the Towers! We hope to offer this
service in future so that all members can attend our special
gatherings. Connie and her mother got to enjoy our little
waterfall (above - compliments of Fred and Ann!)
Our neighbor and new friend Marsha
(above right) walked to the party, she lives right down the road. Marsha brought
us goodies when we were building the house - she is welcome anytime! She has been attending
our church just a short while and yet has already offered her services to help
our Tower's friends stay informed - thanks so much Marsha!
